MRS. ZINN DEAD - Well Known Woman of Philippi Passes away in her Ninetieth Year.
Mrs. L. A. Zinn, age 90, passed away at the home of her son, W. D. Zinn, in Philippi, of diseases incident to old age Monday night. Funeral services will be conducted at the home at 1 o'clock Wednesday afternoon by the Rev. L. W. Holden after which internment will take place in the Mount Olive church cemetery.
Mrs. Zinn was the daughter of the Rev. James Gawthrop, well known in Baptist ministerial circles throughout the state several years ago. Among the surviving relatives are Mrs. E. P. Drummond, of Stealey Heights.
The deceased was for several years a devout member of the Baptist church and always lent a helping hand to any movement in the interest of churchwork.
