Hazel C. Tortella (nee Webber) age 75 years of Paulsboro died Monday January 31, 2011 in Underwood Memorial Hospital, Woodbury. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony M. Tortella. Hazel was born and raised in Gibbstown and lived in Paulsboro for over 55 years. She worked as a bus driver for special needs for Gloucester County and was a homemaker. Hazel was a devoted wife and mother who liked cooking and caring for her family and friends. She also enjoyed collecting antiques at yard and estate sales and spending time with her pet dog, Buddy. She is survived by her children, Mark A. and Kim Tortella of Gibbstown, George and Laura Tortella Kandrak of Williamstown; her sister, Sylvia and Charles Cappella of Mantua; her brothers, Wilburn Webber of Hernandon Beach, Florida, Raymond and Edna Webber of Longmont, Colorado, Ernest Jr. and Mary Webber of Mickleton, Ronald Webber of Gibbstown and many beloved nieces and nephews. Services will be private. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro.
