George J. Krasnesky, 81, died at 6:30am today in the Carlisle Nursing Home, South Bend, following an extended illness. He was born on May 27, 1899, in Hammett, PA. He was a resident of South Bend the past four years, having previously lived in Mishawaka and Moline, Il. He retired in 1965 from International Harvester, Inc., in Moline, Il.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Rolland (Charlotte) Jackson of Elkhart, Mrs. Bill (Catherine) Zent of North Liberty, and Mrs. John (Theresa) Smith of Baltimore, Md; a son, George Krasnesky Jr. of Baltimore; a sister, Louise Blakely of Long Beach, Ca.; a brother, Henry Krasnesky of Erie, Pa.; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
