"Pamela Joan Newton passed away peacefully on Feb. 18, 2011, in her home in Ventura, CA. Pam, to those who loved her, was a resident of Ventura for 39 years. She worked as a paralegal and notary for a small handful of law firms. Her greatest joy and achievement was being a loving mother to Shannon and Robin, and when the need arose to her granddaughter as well. Being a parent brought her great joy. Pam enjoyed reading, cooking, and painting and crocheting beautiful works of art. She was loved by all who knew her, and could always bring a smile with her quick wit and charming way. She will be greatly missed, loved and remembered by family and friends. Pam is survived by her daughter, Robin Newton, granddaughter, Charissa Richards and family, Keith Newton father to Robin and Shannon, and extended family. She will be laid to rest on March 1, 2011 at 11a.m. , at Ivy Lawn Cemetery with her daughter Shannon."
