NAMPA - Richard Henry Chipman, 66. of 619 Lincoln street, a retired farmer, died Tuesday night at his home after a short illness.
Mr. Chipman, a resident of Idaho since 1919, was born Feb. 22, 1884, at Creston, Iowa. He was married at Afton, Iowa, to Maude Lawson, who died in 1937.
They moved to Mountain Home from Iowa in 1919, and he farmed there until two years ago, when he moved to a farm near Meridian. He was married to Ida Hergesheimer in Boise in 1939.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ida Chipman of Nampa; two brothers, Will Chipman of Meridian and Lee Chipman of Boise; one sister, Mrs. Anna Cretors of Boise, and a step- daughter, Mrs. Virginia Bennett Of Robinson-Alsip chapel is arranging services.
