Edna Fredaricka Bernhardina Brettman, daughter of L. H. Brettman and Clara, nee Schoppe, was born June 23, 1902, in Bensenville, Ill., and died June 12, at 1 o'clock a.m., at the age of 4 yrs., 11 mos., 19 days. Funeral services were held at her parents home, at 1 o'clock, Saturday afternoon, June 15, from there to Friedens church, where Edna had just started to go to Sunday school a few Sundays before her untimely death. Interment at Friedens cemetery. Laura Meyer, Laura Ernsting, Hattie Koebbeman, Hattie Kuecking acted as pall bearers.
