Arnold immigrated to the United States before 1918 as he registered for WW I in that country. On his WW I registration he stated that he worked for the Cleveland Drug Co. In about 1921 Arnold married Cecilia Agnes Schlueder, a german lady, and they had four children. Most of his descendants continue to reside in St Louis Missouri. During the depression he lost his job and returned to Mexico in search of work. He drowned in 1934 at the age of 52 in Cuautia Morelos Mexico while swimming at a resort that might have been named Agua Hedlonda. He was buried in Mexico. His wife never remarried and raised their four children.

His parents were Florentina Martinez and Martin Dominguez. His decendants are searching for members of this family who still reside in Mexico.

On his WW I Registration he stated that his closest relative was "Daniel. Daniel changed his last name to Domin and lived in Chicago. Find A Grave Memorial# 52422406).
