Richard Leroy "Harp" Carter, 55, Nevada, Mo., died March 15, 2004, in Limon, Colo. He was born on Aug. 5, 1948, in Nevada, Mo., to Wilice Velman Harp and Clara Leona Hamlett Harp Buckner.
He was a truck driver, and a Baptist.
He is survived by one son, two daughters, three sisters, and one half-brother.
Services were held on March 21, at 2 p.m., at Evergreen Memorial Chapel with Pastor Kelly Kiger officiating. Taped music selections were "Truckdrivin' man," "Truckers Prayer," "I Can Only Imagine" and "Amazing Grace." Interment was in Richland Cemetery. Arrangements by Evergreen Memorial Chapel.
Memorials are suggested to either the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
