Betty J. Anderson, (nee Anderson) age 100, of Little Egg Harbor passed away on February 22, 2011, the day after her one hundredth birthday, at Seacrest Village.

Betty was born in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of Oliver R. and Lydia E. Anderson and was formerly of Trenton and Cherry Hill before moving to Manahawkin in 1974.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Bethlehem Chapter #40 in Barnegat, and the Wright Memorial Presbyterian Church in Barnegat.

Betty was predeceased by her husband George in 1982 and her sister Virginia in 2003.

She is survived by her daughter Nancy Choike, her grandson David J Choike, and her nephew James W. Anderson and his wife Sherry.

Private Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Bugbee-Riggs Funeral Home 12th Street and Blvd., Ship Bottom.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked for contributions to be made to the Wright Memorial Presbyterian Church P.O. Box 101, Barnegat, NJ 08005 in Mrs. Anderson's Memory.
