Douglas P. Ryan 1929 ~ 2005

Douglas P. Ryan "Loving Father and Grandfather" Douglas P. Ryan passed away at his home in Murray, Utah on March 6, 2005 of natural causes. He was born on November 14, 1929 in Cardston, Alberta Canada to Allen Cullen and Clara May (Olsen) Ryan.

Married Dora (Varela) Gomez, later divorced. Married Sherrill (Virgin) Weeks, later divorced.

Douglas was a scoutmaster in Murray 1st Ward in the early 1960's and was well loved. He worked for Heiner Equipment in Salt Lake City until starting his own pest control business. He was a High Priest in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as High Priest group leader and stake missionary at various times.

He attended the temple often until he became too ill to do so. He was devoted to his grandchildren, especially his grandson, Saxxon. He also had a deep affection for his beloved dogs. Survived by his sons; Mitchell (Linda) Ryan and Darrell Ryan. Eight grandchildren and brother, Donald Ryan.

Proceeded in death by his son Gregory, parents, brother Jack, and sister Dorothy Bauder.
