Paul F. Aksterowicz, 46, of 1 Avon Parkway, Liverpool, was pronounced dead at the scene early Friday of a one-car accident on Vine Street, Liverpool.
Mr. Aksterowicz was a life resident of the Syracuse area. He was employed with Diamond Roofing Co., Mattydale.
Mr. Aksterowicz was a member of Roofers Local 195 and the Polish American Citizens Club. He worked behind the scenes at Salt City Center for the Performing Arts.
Surviving are three daughters, Susan, Sharon and Sheryl Aksterowicz, all at home; his mother, Lottie Aksterowicz of Syracuse; a sister, Sister Marcella, principal of Sacred Heart School; three brothers, Ronald of Manlius, Ted of Liverpool and John of Clay; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday at Giminski-Wysocki Funeral Home and 9 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 1320 W. Genesee St.
Contributions may be made to Mr. Aksterowicz's children, in care of his brother, Ted.
