On May 19, 1874 he married Charlotte Swaim. They had five children, Charles Franklin, Ida Viola Belle, Ernest "Everett", Oren "Emmett", Clarence "Lessel" Addison. It is noted that all the children except Charles were known and called by their middle names.
Henry James, like many of his ancestors, learned the building trades while growing up. After marriage, he lived much of his life on farms. After his son Charles got old enough to help with the farming they farmed together and worked in the building trades also.
Henry passed away at the home of his son Lessel on Coit Avenue in Grand Rapids Michigan and is interred in Fairplains Cemetery at 2056 Diamond Road NE, Grand Rapids, Michigan ... This according to Emmet Eubank in his 1974 "A Genealogical History Of The Eubank Family"

EUBANK__Henry J. Eubank, aged 73, died Saturday morning in his home, 209 Bradford St., after a long illness. Besides his widow, he is survived by four sons, Charles F., Everett, Emmett and Lessell Eubank; one daughter Mrs. Viola Pulley; three sisters and two brothers. He was a member of the United Bretheren church. The body will lie in state at 57 Jefferson Ave. until Monday morning. Funeral services from the residence, 209 Bradford, Monday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock.
