COLUMBIA — Funeral services were to be at 4 p.m. today for Sanford T. [sic H.] Allbritton, who died Sunday at Caldwell Parish Hospital here after a long illness. The brother of Monroe attorney B. D. Allbritton, he was the first mayor of Clarks.

The Revs. John Young and Cornelius Johnston were to officiate at First Baptist Church in Clarks with burial and Masonic rites at Old Bethel Cemetery under direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home here.

Mr. Allbritton was a veteran of World War I, a member of the American Legion and Shriners. He served as treasurer of the First Baptist Church in Clarks for 25 years. He was a retired employe of Louisiana Central Lumber Co. in Clarks.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Kathryn A. Harris of Clarks and Mrs. W. W. Gibbs of Memphis, Tenn.; two brothers, O. C. Allbritton of Mansfield and A. Slagle Allbritton of Port Arthur, Tex.; a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be W. L. Vanderford, William W. Rodgers, Scott Rodgers, T. A. Roberts Jr., R. D. White, Damon Bradford, Billy Ray Reitzell and Robert Lee.

Honorary pallbearers were to be members of the Masonic lodge in Clarks.
