COLUMBIA, Aug. 18 (Special) — Mrs. Minnie Allbritton, 83, Clarks passed away Saturday after a short illness. Funeral services will be held today at 4 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Clarks with the Rev. Carvelle Johnston, the Rev. Sharp and the Rev. Paul Jones officiating.

Interment will be in the Old Bethel Cemetery under the direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Columbia.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Ora Chapman and Mrs. Katie Harris of Clarks, and Mrs. Veloice Gibbs of Memphis, Tenn.; four sons, S. H. Allbritton of Clarks, D. D. [sic B. D.] Allbritton of Monroe, O. C. Allbritton of Mansfield and A. S. Allbritton of Port Arthur, Texas; two brothers, S. A. Meyers of Grayson and C. J. Meyers of Sicily Island; two sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Pittman of Crowville and Mrs. Flora Thompson of Columbia; 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
