Wallace was the eldest of 12 children born to Clark Heavenhill and Fannie Wallace. The woman with him in the photo, right, is his sister Amanda. His wife, called Margie or Margie Alice below, was called Alice by the family. She was my mother's "Aunt Alice." Wallace is my grand uncle - he and my grandfather Clarke were brothers.
