-------------
1880 not found. Based on census data, it would appear that Sarah died before 1880. In 1880, Marion Armstrong age 19, Ida Armstrong age 12, and Emma Armstrong age 10 are boarders in the home of Thomas Beatie, and John Armstrong age 14 is found in the household of Alex. Burke. Both of these gentlemen seem to have no family connection to these four Armstrong off-spring. Later in 1880 (another census taken in June) all 6 children have been "collected" from the other households and are with their father, identified as widowed.
