Mrs. Ada Pearl Phalen, 61, of 1015 Hughes-av, died at 2 a.m. Wednesday at her residence after an illness of six months. She was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church.

Mrs. Phalen is survived by her husband, Patrick; three sons, Paddy and Alfred, both of Lima, and Richard, in the U.S. Army; four daughters, Mrs. Alice Makin, Mrs. Elnore Fast and Miss Demaris Phalen, all of Lima, and Mrs. Lola Sampson of Tipton, Ind.

Requiem high mass will be celebrated at 9:15 a.m. Saturday at the church, with Rev. Albert A. Fate officiating. Burial will be in Gethsemane cemetery, with arrangements in charge of the Davis, Miller and Son funeral home.

The body will remain at the residence until time of services.
