Harriet M. MacConel, age 74, a guest at Manor Care South in Williamsport for 2 1/2 years died there on Saturday December 8, 2001.

She was formerly of Jersey Shore and Albany, NY.

She was born May 25, 1927, in Avis, a daughter of Glenn and Ruth Kline Beatty.

Earlier in her life she was employed as a cleaning lady at The New York State Office Buildings in Albany. She also enjoyed Knitting.

Surviving are 1 brother - Glenmar A. Beatty and his wife Trudy of Jersey Shore; 1 niece Glenda Nelson and 2 nephews - James and Wayne Beatty.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday December 12, at the Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, "A Life Celebration Home" 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore with Rev. Michael Guiswite officiating. Burial will be in Jersey Shore Cemetery. Her family will provide the flowers.

Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Disease Association, 71 N. Franklin St., Wilkes-Barre, Pa. 18701.
