Thelma Annie Heckle Phillips, 83, of North Charleston, entered into eternal rest on November 14, 2007, at a local hospital.
She was born July 5, 1924 in St Matthews. She was the daughter of the late Delbert Clifton Heckle and Laura Dessie Coker.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her daughter, Andrea J. and husband Stan of Memphis, TN; two sons, Tyron and his wife Linda of North Charleston, Kevin and wife Deborah of Ladson; one brother, Lynwood and his wife Erica of St. Matthews; five grandchildre and three great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Phillips was preceded by her husband of 59 years, Andrew J. Phillips.
A graveside service was held November 17, 2007, at Carolina Memorial Park. The family received friends one hour prior to the service.
Arrangements were handled by CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC.
