MRS. WILLARD CRANDALL

EMPORIUM, Pa.-Mrs. May E. Crandall of 210 West Fourth St., Emporium, Pa., died early this morning, (Sept. 20, 1963) at the Andrew J. Kaul Memorial Hospital, St. Marys, Pa., where she had been a patient since Sept. 13th. She was the widow of Willard Crandall.
Mrs. Crandall was born at Belfast, NY on July 18, 1871, a daughter of Thomas and Lydia Parish Thurston. She had oved in Friendship, NY and for many years had resided in Olean before moving to Emporium seven years ago.
She is survived by a son, Merle T. Crandall of Emporium; five grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; two sisters, Miss Ina Thurston, Emporium and Mrs. Hattie Palmer, Cuba, NY.
Mrs. Crandall was preceded in death by a son, Harold Crandall and a daughter, Mrs. Donna St. Clair.
She was a former member of the First Methodist Church of Olean and the Women's Benefit Association of Olean.
Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Friendship. NY
