Selma was a founding member and intercessor of Holy Trinity Fellowship in Fort Collins. She was also a member of Fort Collins Women Aglow and Bible Study Fellowship for many years. She was a prior member of the St. Alban's Windsor Episcopal Church and of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Fort Collins. Selma belonged to the Daughters of the King with the Episcopal Church.
Selma was a Godly woman with boundless creativity, a hospitable, loving, compassionate soul who lived her Christian values.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George, her parents, and four brothers. She is survived by sons, George J. Abdelnour (Wendy) of McMinnville, OR, and Joe W. Abdelnour (Louise) of Bullhead City, AZ; daughters, Jeanne Abdelnour of Fort Collins, CO, and Sarah Annette VanLoo of Greeley, CO; a brother, John Malouf (Mae) of Squim, WA; sisters-in-law Josephine Malouf of Fort Collins, CO and Jeanette Malouf of Scottsdale, AZ; 9 grandchildren, Brendhen, Scott, Andrew, John, Betony, Kimla, Brent, Dana, and Tatianna; 12 great-grandchildren, Nick, Ryan, Juliana, Ari, Elias, Grace, Jacob, Samuel, Gabriel, Gabriela, Michael, and Sophia; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held 4:00 – 6:30 p.m. Monday, with a Prayer Service and Personal Sharings at 5:30, at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Resthaven Funeral Home. Interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens. A reception will follow the committal service at the Resthaven Reception Center.
