The Telephone Register, Thursday, November 14, 1940
"EDWARD A. LEFLEY, RESIDENT OF DAYTON, SUCCUMBS TUESDAY
Edward A. Lefley, a resident of Dayton for the past two years, died Nov. 12. He was 60 years old.
Mr. Lefley is survived by four sons: Vernon of Canby, Wayne of Yamsay, Ore., George of Salem and Charles Burgess (stepson) of Dayton. Also living are five daughters: Mrs. Alta Burgess of Salem, Dorothy I., Wilma E., and Peggy Jean Lefley of Dayton, and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Pearl Crawford of Dayton.
Burial in Evergreen Memorial park will follow services from Macy and Son chapel, Nov. 15 at 2 p.m. the Rev. Hugard of Jehovahs Witnesses will conduct the funeral."
