Miss Vera Adams of Matador and J.C. Hilton of Lubbock were quietly married at the home of Rev. and Mrs. J.V. Bilberry on West Harris Street in Matador Saturday. After the wedding, the couple enjoyed dinner with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hilton of Afton. They went to Lubbock where Mr. HIlton is employed by Dalby Motor Freight. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Adams, and came to Matador in 1935. She is a graduate of Bomarton High School and a student at the Teachers College in Denton.
