Service for Clara Mae Hagood, 70, of Kermit was on Tuesday afternoon at Eastside Church Of Christ. Burial followed in Kermit cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Chapel.

Mrs.Hagood died Sunday at her residence. She was born Aug. 8,1922 in Waxahachie. She married Clyde Hagood Nov. 18, 1940 in Roscoe. She was a housewife and a member of Eastside Church of Christ. She had lived in Kermit for 32 years.

Survivors include her husband;two sons, Howard Hagood and David Hagood both of Kermit; three daughters, Patsy Russell, Elaine Watson and Pam Prather; her mother Mrs. Artie Burns; a brother, Mac Burns; a sister Della Douglas; 15 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Clara was preceeded in death by two sons - Roberston Eugene (1941-1944) and Larry Dale (1951-1951).
