Floyd Russell Brady, 89, of Simpsonville, formerly of Woodruff, died Saturday, March 5, 2011, at Hillcrest Hospital.
A native of Laurens County, he was the widower of Kathleen Perry Brady and son of the late Marshall and Betty Mae Johnson Brady. He was a member of Bellview Baptist Church and was retired with over 20 years of service with the U.S. Army. Mr. Brady was a World War II Army Veteran and a Korean War Veteran.
Surviving are one son, Phillip Brady and his wife Patti of Simpsonville; two grandsons, Kevin Brady and his wife Angela of Simpsonville and Ryan Brady of Simpsonville; and three great-grandchildren, Jordyn Brady, Emily Brady, and Jeremy Brady, all of Simpsonville.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at Bellview Baptist Church by Dr. Ray Mims. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
