Nov 7, 1976: Funeral services for Arthur Pade Sr., 91, formerly of Lomira, who died Monday, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Lomira, where he was a member. Pastor Nathan Retzlaff will officiate, and burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and until noon Thursday at Kietzer Funeral Home, Lomira, and thereafter at the church until the time of services.

He was born Aug. 4, 1885, in Lomira, a son of the later Frank and Sophia KIeinfeld Pade. He married Alma Hagen at Black Creek on Sept 1, 1915. The couple farmed at Route 1, Lomira, until 1945 when they moved to Lomira. Mr. Pade resided at Clearview in Juneau for the past 34 ½ years.

Surviving are a son, Arthur, Jr. of Route 1, Lomira; three grandsons; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Albert of Route 1, Lomira, and Walter of Lomira; and two sisters, Mrs. Walter ( Della) Lerch of South Byron, and Mrs. (Esther) Peters Sr. of Fond du Lac. He was preceded in death by his wife and three sisters.
