Walter C. Pade, 92, formerly of Lomira, died Wednesday, March 23, 1988 at Clearview Nursing Home in Juneau.
He was born Sept. 14, 1895, in the Town of Lomira to Frank and Sophia Kleinfeldt Pade. On Jan. 20, 1921, he married Hilda Reisenweber at St. Paul’s Church in Brownsville.
Mr. Pade was a veteran of World War I serving from1917-1918. He worked for Sterr Canning Co., Lomira. He was a self-employed carpenter and a Lomira Postal employee.
Survivors include his wife; two sisters, Mrs. Walter (Della) Lerch of Lomira and Mrs. Harry (Esther Peters of Fond du Lac; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lomira. Rev. Mason Retzlaff will officiate. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery in Lomira. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Kietzer Funeral Home in Lomira.
Friends may call Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. at the church.
