BROTHERTOWN – Died, at his home on Feb. 1st, 1902, at 5:30 a.m. of General debility and old age, Mr. Warren L. Ball, aged 83 years.
His funeral was held at the family residence, Tuesday with the Rev. Daniel Woodward, a former pastor at this place, officiating.
Mr. Ball has for many years been a resident of this town, having built a store here in the latter part of the forties, which he occupied up to about twelve years ago.
Mr. Ball was a man of exceptionally fine character, a good citizen, an accommodating neighbor, a loving husband and kind father and was highly respected by all who knew him. He was for many years postmaster at this place and held town offices with credit to himself and the people.
He leaves a sorrowing widow, one son and two daughters; one daughter residing in North Dakota and two brothers, one here and one in Nebraska, two mourn his death.
The sympathy of their large circle of friends is expended to the bereaved family and relatives.
