Marie was born in Newark, NJ and moved to Belleville at the age of 5. After graduating Belleville High School, she began working as a secretary fur RCA, Bloomfield and Wallace & Tiernan Belleville. She eventually began working for the Fireman's Fund Insurance Company, Newark as the supervisor of the transcription department before retiring. In 1977 , she and her husband moved to Cherry Hill NJ, where she was active in civic affairs and did volunteer work with the Cherry Hill Senior Citizens Advisory Board. in 2005 she moved to Bowie, MD. Marie is survived by her loving children, Lynne Malley and her husband, Stephen, Susan Rischewski and Robert Joiner, her beloved grandchildren, Stephen R. Malley and his wife , Marie: Robert P. Joiner and his wife, Joanna Prout;
