Margaret M. Abeita, 85, of LCO, died March 1, 2011. Margaret Mary was born April 29, 1925 at home in LCO, Wis. the daughter of David and Nellie (Nickence) Corbine. She attended Couderay Grade School then graduated from LCO High School. Margaret was united in marriage to Augustine Abeita in Santa Fe, N.M. They lived in various places including Minneapolis, Albuquerque and Chicago, where Margaret worked as a housekeeper. They returned to LCO in 1979.

Margaret is survived by her sons, Augustine David (Tamara) Abeita of Albuquerque, Gary Philip Abeita of Milwaukee, Stuart Abeita of LCO, Vaughn Abeita-Peppey of Milwaukee, Gerald Wayne Abeita of Minneapolis; daughters, Valerie Suhr of Milwaukee, Donna Jean Abeita of Madison; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Lillian Corbine of LCO; many nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one son; sisters. Kitty and Bunny Corbine and brothers, Corky and Fritz Corbine. Funeral: Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 7, 2011 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in New Post. Father Gregory Hopefl will officiate with music provided by Sister Felissa Zander.

Burial will be in New Post Cemetery.

Visitation began at 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 6, 2011.

Casketbearers: Gary Abeita, Vaughn Abeita-Peppey, David Brown, Dean Hepburn, Jeremy Hollen, Ryan Kinnett, Edward Wooten and Glen Wooten.
