FORMER MAYORS DAUGHTER TAKEN BY DEATH AT 84
Daughter of former Los Angeles Mayor, George Alexander will be buried here today.
Miss Lydia E. Alexander, 84, died Sunday at her home, 2215 S. Western Ave. Born in Iowa, she lived here 62 years.
Her Father, a native of Scotland operated a feed mill before entering politics, he served as Mayor from 1909 to 1913, dying in 1923 at age 83. Leaves a brother, Franklin of Redlands and two nieces.
