Lena Louise Rowell Robinson - Born December 10, 1916, in Mobile, died Monday, June 21, 2010, in the family residence. Mrs. Robinson was a retired U. S. Government employee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Pollard Rowell and Madison Van Rowell; and her husband, Bernard E. Robinson. Survivors include her daughter, Margaret Robinson (Steve) Chambers; two sons, Keith Robinson and Robbie (Charlene) Robinson; her sister-in-law, Kathryn Dawkins; five grandchildren, Tina (James) Adamski, Amy (Kevin) Crotty, Todd (Pat) Allen, Christopher Chambers, and Tara (Andy) Mills; nine great-grandchildren; other relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Thursday, June 24, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 900 Western America Circle, Mobile, AL 36609.
