Mr. Robert E. Vermillion is survived by his wife, Minnie Vermillion and four loving stepsons, Andy Hadley of Douglasville; Randy Hadley of Athens AL; Danny Hadley of Powder Springs and David Hadley of Douglasville; also nine step grandchildren and eight great step grandchildren; he is also survived by two sons, Joel Vermillion of Acworth and Doug Vermillion of Canton; four grandchildren; two brothers, Jim Vermillion and Dick Vermillion of Ohio; and nieces and nephews. Robert "Bob" was a veteran of the US Marine Corp during WWII. Funeral services will be held 1:30 pm Wednesday, March 9, from the Chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home in Smyrna, with Drs. Scott Downing and Geral Spicer officiating. Interment will be in Georgia Memorial park Cemetery. The family will receive friends froma 4-08 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wellstar Hospice, 4040 Hospital South, Austell GA 30106.
