Mrs. Gladys L. Patterson, 66, died early Wednesday morning at Magic Valley Memorial Hospital after a lengthly illness.
She was born 2 Feb 1907, in Bryandt, Washington and the following year moved with her parents to Jerome. She attended Jerome Schools and the Gregg Business College, Twin Falls.
She worked as a secretary for the Jerome Milling and Elevator Co., the Jerome High School and at the County Courthouse for a number of years.
She married Marvin D. (Bill) Patterson Dec. 31, 1930, in Burley. They farmed south of Jerome since that time.
In addition to her husband she is survived by one brother, Harold Gregg, Jerome; two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy McKean, Twin Falls, and Mrs. Ardis Griswold, Jacksonville, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
Funeral services will be at 2 pm Friday at Hove Funeral Chapel, with Rev. John N. Garrabrandt officiating. Final rites will be in the Jerome Cemetery.
Friends may call at the chapel this afternoon and evening and until 1:30 pm Friday. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
