Henry W. Bautsch, 88, 615 S. High St., Galena, died at his home on July 4, 1982.
He was born on May 4, 1894 in Rice Township. He was a farmer and a 27-year employee of the Savanna Army Depot. He was a World War I veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Florence Beadle Bautsch; two daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Sharon) Wachter of Galena and Mrs. Dennis (Karen) Carthew or Portage, Wis.; three sons, Robert, James, and Kenneth, all of Galena; one brother, Edward, rural Galena; and eight grandchildren.
Services were held at St. Michael Catholic Church on July 6 at 9:30am with the Rev. James McLoughlin of St. Michael Catholic Church officiating. Burial was in St. Michael's cemetery.
Casket bearers were Tom Bautsch, Dan Bautsch, Wayne Wienan, Bill Murphy, Jerry Petitgoue, and Pat Beadle.
