Addison L. Daniels, age 79, member of one of the most prominent families in the history of Marion, died today noon at the home of his sister, Miss Adeliza Daniels. He was brought here from Sioux City six weeks ago following an operation. Born in Marion, the son of Preston Daniels, pioneer, he was reared here and took a leading part in the civic, industrial and social life of the city until eighteen years ago when he moved to Sioux City where he was engaged in the insurance business.

Funeral services were held this morning for Addison Lowell Daniels, 79, who died Saturday at the home of his sister, Miss Adeliza Daniels. Mr. Daniels, member of a pioneer family and at one time a leader in the civic and industrial life of Marion, had lived in Sioux City during the last eighteen years.
