Edith G. King, 85, of 840 Third Ave., died Sunday, Dec. 11, 2005, in St. Luke's Hospital following a sudden illness...Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ike; and 11 brothers and sisters.
Edith was born Jan. 20, 1920, the daughter of O.C. and Cassie Stump Patterson. On Aug. 29, 1948, she married Ivan "Ike" King in Washington. He died June 6, 1993. Edith worked as an accountant at Life Investors and AEGON for over 25 years.
Her greatest gift was her love, understanding and caring for her family and others....
