Pearl Guzman was born April 27, 1922 to Chichi Hernandez and Maria Montologo in Seguin, Texas. She departed this life Wednesday, July 28, 2010 in Tulsa at the age of 88 years, 3 months, and 1 day. Pearl spent her youth in Texas before moving to Oklahoma City where she resided for many years. She also had lived in Sayre, Bristow, and most recently in Kellyville. She was a faithful member of the Faith Outreach Church. Her passions in life were her church, cooking, & family gatherings.
She is survived by 8 children; Roberta Vasquez of Kellyville, Ray Vasquez of Bristow, Leroy Vasquez of Oklahoma City, James Ramirez of Monta Ray, Mexico, Amanda Gusman of Tulsa, Lucia Vanzant & husband Sidney of Sayre, Oklahoma and Linda Childress & husband Ronnie of Bristow. 17 Grandchildren and 29 Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Amado Guzman,Son, Thomas Michael Rios, Grandson, Michael Paul Childress and 2 brothers.
Funeral services will be 2PM Saturday, July 31, 2010 at the Hutchins-Maples Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Marlene Burdick officiating. Committal services will follow at Magnolia Memorial Gardens.
