Flo M. (Kinard) Edwards, 82, entered into rest after a lengthy illness Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at Pleasant Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of John Warren Edwards, who entered into rest on October 1, 1972.
She was born in York City, on June 26, 1928, and was the daughter of the late William M. and Ruth E. (Grove) Kinard.
Flo was a homemaker. She loved to spend her time coloring and she enjoyed the company of her cats.
Surviving are two daughters, Wanda A. Staub of Dover and Julie R. Meyls of Gulfport, Miss.; one son, Dennis S. Edwards of Dover, and wife, Holly; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Dora Saylor of York; and nieces and nephews.
Burial will be at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
