Betty Ann Moffett Griffith, 74, of Marshall died Sunday at Warrenton Overlook Care Center.
The funeral will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton by Rev. J. Randolph Daniels. Burial will follow in the Warrenton Cemetery.
Mrs. Griffith was born July 25, 1929, in Fauqier County, daughter of the late Anderson and Lucille Grant Moffett.
She retired after 25 years from the Fauquier County Public Schools, teaching at The Plains, Northwestern and Coleman Elementary schools. She was a member of the Marshall Baptist Church. She was the wife of the late Richard L. Griffith Sr.
Surviving are a daughter, Sandra O'Connell of Warrenton, a son, Richard L. Griffin Jr., of Marshall and a granddaughter.
