Helen F. Cluxton, 69, of Batavia, formerly of Russellville, died Friday, July 13, 2001 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati. She was born in Adams County on June 8, 1932, daughter of the late Thurman W. and Minnie B. (Yazell) Tomlin. She was a member of the Russellville Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include one daughter, Tina Cluxton of Batavia; three sons, Scott Cluxton and Doug Tomlin of West Union, Vincent Cluxton of Batavia; five sisters, Alta Leonard and Martha Grooms of Manchester, Mary Abbott of Dayton, Golda Allen of New Port Richie, Fla., and Sue Huntley of Culloden, W. Va.; four brothers, Earl Tomlin of Cincinnati, George Tomlin of Jonesboro, Ind., Dallas and David Tomlin of Manchester; five grandchildren, Paul Tomlin of Grove City, Summer Laipply of Grove City and two great-grandchildren, Isabella and Cecilia Tomlin. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, July 17, at 2 p.m. at the Beam Funeral Home. Visitation was held on Monday, July 16 at the funeral home. Burial followed at the Linwood Cemetery.
