Church Home In Buffalo, followlng
a long illness.
She was born in Austin, Pa.,
March 1, 1889, a daughter or
Aaron and Harriett Smith
Elliott. Mrs. Luce had been a
resident of Olean most of her
life. She was married to Harrison
J. Luce who died Sept. 9,
1960.
Mrs. Luce was a member of
St. Stephen's Episcopal Church
of Olean, and a long time
member of the Olean Senior
League.
Surviving are a nephew.
Donald A. Elliott of Olean: a
niece, Mrs. Roy H. Sills or
Rochester.
There will be no visitation.
Funeral services will be held at
at St. Stephen's Episcopal
Church on Fridav (Feb. 24,
1978)at 10 a.m. with the Very
Rev. Richard B. Duncan, rector,
officiating. Burial will be in
Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Portville.
Arrangements are under the
direction of the Halwig Funeral
Home, 117 Hamilton St., Olean.
