Dr. Hugh Robert Abell, 60, died at his home in Frances, Friday August 5th, after an illness of several months.
Born in Union County, May 29th, 1878, the son of R.W. and Mrs. Abell, his education was received in the public schools of that county. After receiving his degree in optometry, he practiced for some years in Louisville with his brother, later coming to this city and later removing to Frances.
He was married to Mrs. W.E. Asbridge, January 12, 1930.
