John Charles Rairdon of Gurdon died Tuesday, March 8 at Baptist Medical Center in Arkdelphia. He was born on September 30, 1949 in Cook County, Illinois, the son of the late Charles Wesley and Pauline Donisage Rairdon. He was 61 years old, a machinist and a member of the Church of Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a veteran of the United States Navy of the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Barnes Rairdon of Gurdon; one daughter, Carla Rairdon of Gurdon; four step-children, Linda Cooper of Arkdelphia, Leona Swayzee of Diamondhead, Alan Neill of Houston, TX, Larry Neil of Malvern; one brother, two sisters and three grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 10, 2011 at Round Hill Cemetery with Dr. Steven Carter officiating.
Pallbearers will be James Vest, Jonathan Vest, Larry McNeil, Rick Harper, Damon Vest, Kevin Cooper, Miguel Sanchez and Ray Rhine.
