Marvin Earl Adams, 80, a resident of Pittsboro for 40 years, died Thursday, Aug. 11 (1989), in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. Born May 11, 1909 in Hancock County, he was the son of Edward and Lena (Beckner) Adams. On June 22, 1930, he married Mabel M. McClary who survives.
Services were Sunday, Sept. 3, in the the David A. Hall Mortuary, Pittsboro. Rev. Steven Agal officiated with burial in the Lizton K of P Cemetery.
Surviving with his wife are sons: Duane Adams, Lizton, and Robert and Gary, both of Pittsboro; daughters, Darlene Lindley, Danville, and Marilyn Rihm, Cincinnati; sister, Frances Whitaker, Pittsboro; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
