Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 7 at the Aurora United Methodist Church. Dr. F. Cole Fowler will officiate. Interment will be in the Aurora Cemetery.

Harold 'Hap' Leo Stark, the son of Simeon Louis and Eva May (Bedient) Stark, was born at Bradshaw, Neb., on April 8, 1913 and died in Aurora, Neb., on March 1, 2011, at the age of 97.
Hap attended Shiloah Country School. He attended Bradshaw High School and graduated from Marquette High School in 1932. Hap began farming after finishing school. Hap was united in marriage to Eva Mary Brooks on Oct. 9, 1935, at Aurora. He continued to farm for another seven years before he began painting farm buildings. They moved into Aurora in 1945. Hap's career also included exterior and interior painting of homes. He retired in 1978. Eva passed away on Oct. 27, 1997.
Hap belonged to the Aurora Lions Club and the Aurora United Methodist Church. He enjoyed woodworking and carving.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Patricia (Hollis) Feeser of Rochester, Minn.; three grandchildren, Scott Feeser of Rochester, Minn., Kent (Liz) Feeser of Rochester, Minn., and Cheryl (Chuck) Smith of Minnetonka, Minn.; two great-grandchildren, Dylan and Grayson Bauer and five stepgreat-grandchildren, Amber, Jenny, Minda, Lucy and Erin.
