OWEN - Corsicana, Texas, June 10. - Mrs. Betty Owen, 86, resident of Navarro county thirty-five years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. A. Cheney, at Purdon Wednesday.
Funeral services will be held at the White Church Cemetery near Blooming Grove Thursday. Mrs. Owen formerly lived in the Blooming Grove and Emhouse communities. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Cheney, Mrs. May Lida Wallace and Mrs. Minerva Wallace of Munday; three sons, J. P. Owen, Hugo, Okla., E. L. Owen of Corsicana and H. D. Owen of Purdon, and 160 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Owen was a native of Alabama..
