He was saved during a great revival in the coalfields of West Virginia, and began his ministry at 17 years old.
For nearly 60 years, he served as an evangelist and pastor with the Church of God. Fred was known as a man of integrity, a great prayer warrior, and a man of great faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William H.Stone, and Nalva Dunford Stone.
He leaves behind his wife of 56 years; Juanita Stone. His children; Diana Stone, Perry Fred Stone Jr. and wife Pam., Phillip Stone and wife Kerry, and Melanie Stone. Also his four grandchildren ,and 7 brothers and sisters.
