She grew to womanhood in Naarden and married there, 9 Mar 1625, to Theunis Quick the mason. This couple had at least two children born to them before they set sail for New Amsterdam in the New World.
They settled on the tip of what is now Manhattan. Their childrens births and marriages were recorded at the Dutch Reformed Church.
She was the mother of eight known children;
