Charlie was the son of Maggie and John Smith he was one of twelve children, six boys and six girls. James, Carrie, Marshall, Magnolia, Susie, Glayds, Elizabeth Ruth, Virgil, John, Anna Laura and Robert Lee Smith.

In 1946 he married Leta Lucas, to this union one son was born David Smith.

Charlie was my uncle on my mothers side. The 2 other pictures are of Charlie's sister's and brother's. Charlie died of a heart attack.
